Accidents have occurred where cyclists have been thrown off their bikes (always, unexpectedly) and the helmets either saved them from trauma, a night in the ER, stitches, paralysis, or even worst case scenario, death. These helmets are the main ones we sell to the MIT community, of which we have sold hundreds, and raised thousands towards our bike safety mission.
